Maghammers were manufactured for a niche market, in place of vibrators.
• Maghammer is an electromagnetic hammering device. A piston moves in suspension transferring its
kinetic energy to the flexible structure of the hoppers, bins, chutes, cyclones etc.
• Maghammers are supplied in four different sizes.
• The size of the Maghammers required for an application depends on Plate thickness of the Silo / Hopper
• The number of Maghammers required for the application depends on Dimensions at the top of the Silo

Many types of materials cause blockages e.g.
SUGAR, SALT, FLOUR, ALUMINA, COAL, COAL FINES, ALUMINITE, DUST AND ASH, WOOD CHIPS, LIME, CARBONATE, CEMENT, SINTER, etc.
Problems with applications for all of the above have been solved by using magnetic impactors.The strike force of the hammer travels through the surface of the Silo/Hopper, through to the material, loosening the particles. Gravity does the rest - the material falls down, dislodging the blockage. The remainder of caking on the inside walls of the hopper are brought down by the resonance of the impact force.
MAGHAMMERS SOLVE VIBRATOR SHORTCOMINGS
In many instances where vibrators have been used, it has been found that there have been effects of metal fatigue and structural damage, because of the brute force.
To exacerbate the situation, hammers, “gwalas”, and other blunt instruments are used, because the vibrators compact the material (causing further bridging / clogging) instead of allowing it to flow freely.
Maghammers have been used successfully in these instances to replace vibrators or air canons.
MAGHAMMERS ARE SAFE & RELIABLE
Maghammers are solid state hammers, with internal moving parts only. They boast of a Strike Force of up to 5,000,000G without damaging the surface or the skin of the Silo.
Maghammers are safe and reliable, and require ZERO maintenance checks. The hammers are IP 55, and are operated by Controllers specifically manufactured for the client’s application.
Maghammers are tack-welded onto the surface of a hopper, allowing the corners to be free of welding for freedom to expand and contract.
Maghammers have a safety eye bolt, to which a chain is attached, and welded onto the frame of the silo or hopper.
The decibel level of the Maghammers is well within Government Regulations.
